Fiberglass Geogrid is a high-performance geosynthetic material specifically designed for asphalt pavement reinforcement and road maintenance projects. The product uses high-strength, alkali-free glass fiber as the reinforcing framework, formed into a stable grid structure via warp-knitting technology, and features a surface coating of modified asphalt or polymer-based compounds.
Fiberglass geogrids feature extremely high tensile strength and excellent dimensional stability, effectively dispersing stress concentrations generated by vehicle loads, reducing the propagation of cracks from old pavements into newly laid asphalt layers, thereby lowering the incidence of pavement cracking, rutting, and fatigue damage.
