Construction Method
1. Crack Cleaning
Before construction, dust, soil, debris, and loose particles inside the crack must be removed; if necessary, a hairdryer or hot air gun may be used for cleaning.
2. Hot-Pour Crack Sealant
Add the hot-melt road crack sealing adhesive into the equipment’s melting tank and heat it to a fluid state suitable for application.
3. Control Temperature
Maintain a stable material temperature during construction to avoid insufficient flow caused by excessively low temperatures, as well as material aging caused by excessively high temperatures.
3. Crack Injection
Push the equipment along the crack direction to evenly inject the melted crack-sealing adhesive into the crack.
5. Surface Finishing
Use a squeegee or discharge nozzle as needed to smooth the surface, ensuring seamless adhesion of the sealant to the pavement.
6. Cooling and Opening to Traffic
Traffic can be reopened once the material has cooled and solidified.
